His first contact with the film world dates back to 1966 as an amateur film maker when he also wrote film reviews for the Diari de Sabadell. He freelanced for two years with the humorous magazines Por Favor and Muchas Gracias. As well as directing 10 shorts he has written and directed feature films for the following producing companies: Teide P.C., Profilmes, Prozesa, Figaro Films and Lola Films. In 1986 he opened his own film producing company,Fair Play Productions S.A. He has been a founding member of the ICC (Catalan Cinema Industry) as well as of Catalunya's School of Film Directors and the OCC (Catalan Cinema Office).
